Ali Wayzani

During his childhood at Abidjan, Ali spent most of his time on football playgrounds. Back to Lebanon, he focused on his studies and got admitted in medical school.

Having some free time in 2016, he discovered running on track & field and decided to defy himself to become a Lebanese champion. Ever since, his passion became this sport with one ambition : run and run fast.

In 2018, he won several podium places. He was able to improve his performance and break his personal best records over 5K (16:17) and 10K (32:46) distances.

During the last university race competition, he also completed 1500m in 4:16 sec and 5000m in 17:20, and was ranked 1st overall over these two distances.

Today, he set a primary goal for himself: hold the national record over distances 1500m and 3000m.

Ali’s daily life revolves around his hospital shifts and running. He runs twice a day and easily exceeds 6.000 km a year. Surely this matches with his favorite quote - “When you feel like quitting and you don't, that's when the magic begins”.
